Well, I'm not totally myself yet, but this will do. I am sure it's because I am tired and I certainly expected to have some "off" days. It also doesn't help that today, it's raining. All the other counselors are feeling the same - it may just be second session funk, too.
Right now, I am playing Trivial Pursuit with the kids. Luckily, I have the Counselor Category in Silicon Valley (which is our clever name for the computer room), so I can use les ordinateurs (French for computers). It's about 4:30pm and we have to play this with them until 6pm. Yikes. Then a meeting and DINNER! It's Thanksgiving today and I am super hungry already. Funny thing is, I am ALWAYS hungry here.
It's taking me about a million minutes to type this because it has to be in between kids, but here are a few interesting facts about my past few days:
1. I cut Leaf's hair last week and forgot to mention it. I cut 5 inches off and it's really short now - about a half inch from his head. All with scissors, mind you. I am a genius. Becca, remember when I used to talk you into letting me cut your hair? Ha, Leaf actually let me do it willingly.
2. Beef is not annoying me as much anymore, but I can tell you one thing that really got to me last week. He reads over my shoulder! I was writing Tyler a letter and he was commenting on what I had written! Who does that? Seriously, I was not a happy camper...literally.
3. I did the Worm at the BOOM last week (I am getting good - I'll have to bring shorts and show it off at Steph's wedding) and I knocked my chin really hard on the concrete floor. It hurt bad. I somehow seem to hurt myself at everything I do. Example: Today I cut myself on the tape dispenser. I know, dumb. It just happens.
4. I GOT MY PACKAGE TODAY (thanks Mom & Dad)! What does this mean? PICTURES! I will learn how to post (on my own because if I ask anyone, they will want to know what the hell this is which would not be good) and then, you can see what it's like here. I even took a picture of my burn.
5. Apparently, I laugh in my sleep just about every night. I found this out a few days ago and, somehow, everyone has just been dealing with it. I think it's super funny. Not many people can say they giggle in their sleep. I guess 2 nights ago, I was talking and yelled "Niles!" really loud so everyone could hear. Ha! Good story.
Okay, gotta run!
